Here are some tips on how to find what you're looking
for on our website.
We've worked hard to develop a site that allows you to easily find what
you're looking for at parkavenueliquor.com.
If prefer to browse our inventory and you know the brand, the vintage, the type, or any other particular attribute of the bottle you are interested in - simply type that information into the search box at the top of the page. Our search engine will quickly scan our entire inventory of products and display a list of search results that match your query.
Tip #1:
Search by Brand
For Example: Bushmills, Grey Goose or Caymus
Tip #2:
Search by Country or Origin
For Example: America, Rhone, or South Africa
Tip #3:
Search by Type or Keyword(s)
For Example: Red Bordeaux, Pauillac, Vodka, Kosher.
You can get very specific with this type of search. For example, try searching for "peach vodka" to see if we have any items in our inventory that match that description. Some other interesting search results can be found by searching for "cask strength," or even "Park Avenue" to see a list of our most exclusive bottles sold only at the Park Avenue Liquor Shop.
A good way to find examples is to experiment with the search engine.
For Example:
Single malt scotch: 0 results
Single malt: 253 results
Scotch: 403 results
Highland (a region in Scotland): 96 results
The phrase 'single malt scotch' does not return any results even though we have many single malts. This is because the products database rarely uses the word "single malt scotch" in the description or name of the product. The above example demonstrates how to broaden the search.
Tip #4
Search by Vintage
For Example: 1935, 1970, 2002
This can be a lot of fun when you're looking for that special birthday or anniversary gift. Simply type in the vintage year.
The search software tries to narrow down your search results as much as possible based on the number of search words. If you type multiple search words - you will see fewer results than if you were to type in just one search word. For example: '1986 opus cabernet' will find fewer matches than '1986 cabernet' or simply, '1986'.
Tip #5
Sort the search results
On the search results page you can sort the results according to each of the column headers. For example, if you have navigated to the Rum section or completed a search on 'Rum' you can sort your results by producer simply by clicking on the "Producer" column name.
All columns will sort alphabetically or numerically.
